Hero French Save Rob Lowe from Major Flooding at Vacation Home
Rob Lowe and his family were trying to have a normal, everyday vacation at their home in the French Riviera when the weather threw a wrench in their plans. The town of Grasse received "three months' worth of rainfall in four hours" on Wednesday according to The Weather Channel, and the resulting floods nearly washed away Lowe's home.
Rob and his son John both posted pictures of the flood as it raged perilously close to their house.
Thank you to the fireman that saved us from this nightmare. Happy for us all to be safe, thoughts to others. pic.twitter.com/NWOdtMsAmj

The Toronto Sun reports that Rob and family are fine now, thanks to the actions of first responders who rescued them from the threatened home. Aside from some quick "we're okay" messages after the flood on Wednesday, none of the Lowes have resumed posting pictures on social media to show you how much fun you're not having.
