NOAA: Today's US Snow Cover Is 3rd Largest This Late in Season
As of early this morning, 53.9% of the continental United States was covered by at least a dusting of snow, marking the third highest percentage of land covered by snow this late in the season since NOAA began keeping records 48 years ago.
The largest land area covered by snow this season was 67.4% on February 7, 2014.
