Storm chasers following one of the many supercell thunderstorms that developed on Wednesday also caught this awesome time lapse video of two "mothership" supercells in Oklahoma and Texas.

A "mothership" cloud develops in a supercell when the mesocyclone — the broad, vertical column of rotation in the supercell — develops a tall column of clouds that looks like a stack of pancakes or, as the term suggests, how some imagine an alien mothership would appear.
